I could sum up how I approach Sports Photography in five words; let me tell your story. I spent many years taking pictures and avidly studying the photographic work of others, but it wasn't until I started shooting my daughter's track and field events, that I discovered what really captivated me was not the event I was recording but the character of the athletes I was capturing. This art of observation allows me to focus my lens on the spirit and emotion of my subjects. Revealing little glimpses of the personal experiences that make up the compelling stories behind the sports I cover is what I aim for.
